Gambler Loses Lawsuit Against NJ Casinos

So it would seem that a former New York attorney by the name of Arelia Margarita Taveras sued several NJ casinos because she was addicted to gambling. More specifically, they never made her stop. Huh?

Ok, so she had a gambling problem and over 2 years time she lost $1 million. She has a problem. But casinos have no way to tell that she's an addict. It's not like you can look at her and see it, like, for instance, a bartender can look and tell someone is innebriated. She should own her mistakes and issues and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

And apparently, U.S. District Court Judge Renee Bumb, and I are on the same page, because she threw it out.

The attorney is going to appeal. No kidding?

Good afternoon,

If she lost or even say wasted her money because she could not do enough for her success why sue? I am a Roulette player and I both win and lose, but that does not mean I should start suéing people when I do not perform well?

Where is justice, is for all

Thank you

Anna

I too agree with Anna. Wining and losing are just the part of the games and if you are not enough capable to improve your performance then its better to back off.
